The comparison of dual axis photovoltaic tracking system using artificial intelligence techniques

<span>In this paper, the efficiency of photovoltaic panels is improved by adding a sun tracking system. The solar system used for so that always faces sun. This uses dual axis consisting horizontal rotation and vertical axis. rotational motion to follow azimuth angle from north south. Then, sun's east west motion. Both types movements are controlled using PID controller optimized with an artificial intelligence approach, namely particle swarm optimization (PID-PSO), firefly algorithm (PID-FA), imperialist competitive (PID-ICA), bat (PID-BA), ant colony (PID-ACO). Experiments various approaches were carried out corresponding performance compared. experimental results show PID-BA performs best in terms settling time overshoot. also allow comparison different calculation fastest completion time.</span>
